You run a farm. Do you know how much a liter of milk costs?
Not an approximation. Not last quarter’s average. The exact technical cost factoring in feed, labor, depreciation, and veterinary expenses — for each group of animals, for every period, cross-referenced with the selling price and the current plan.
Origami Effect builds a system that knows this number — and makes sure that you
know about a problem before it impacts the season’s financial results.
What does Origami Effect do?
We design and implement an ecosystem of tools that connect data from all areas of the farm — milk production, feed purchases, crops, agrotechnical treatments, invoices — into one automated picture. Each person sees their own scope.
The system assembles the whole picture without human intervention.
Five tools
Demeter — an operational model of the farm that forecasts feed demand broken down by type, month, and animal group. It accounts for herd status, milk yield, nutritional standards, and seasonality. It generates operational budgets for the entire season as a benchmark for current performance.
Echo — logs every purchase invoice at the moment of receipt and automatically assigns it to the correct budget category. The procurement officer can see how much budget is left without asking the accounting department. The system triggers an alert if a feed shortage threatens at the current pace of purchasing — 14 days in advance, not when the warehouse is empty.
Gaia — logs agrotechnical treatments and plant protection products (PPP). PPP documentation is generated automatically in a format compliant with ARiMR requirements — ready to be submitted or presented during an inspection. Zero manual data re-entry.
Hebe — logs milk and herd data. Yield broken down by groups, deviations from the norm, veterinary events. The foundation for calculating the actual production cost of a liter of milk.
Clio — combines data from all the above sources into automated reports and alerts. Every Friday at 6:00 PM, the owner receives a weekly farm digest: herd, milk, feed, crops, budget execution. Via WhatsApp, Teams, or Discord. No one has to manually prepare it.
Iris — an interactive, live dashboard in React. The owner sees the whole picture. The zootechnician sees their feed budget. The agronomist sees plots and treatments. Each role sees their own scope — and nothing else. An AI agent answers questions in natural language based on hard data from the database.
Implementation
Origami Effect builds every tool for a specific property, a specific market, and tailored reporting requirements. We start with a conversation — not an offer.
